Data Science for Asset-Based Emergency Response in Durham

Description

In coordination with the Duke Office of Community Health and Duke School of Medicine’s Root Causes, this project uses data science, GIS, and web design to map and integrate community assets and risks that can support emergency preparedness and response—especially for food disruptions, power outages, and flooding—while also strengthening everyday coordination among health, social service, and community partners via a centralized data management and community resource platform.
